Job Title: Ambulance / Emergency Nurse
Location: Gujeni, Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Accompany and assist emergency medical technicians on calls.
- Administer first aid such as bandaging, splinting, and administering oxygen.
- Assist ambulance drivers in transporting sick, injured, or convalescent persons.
- Place patients on stretchers, and load stretchers into ambulances, usually with assistance from other attendants.
- Assessing whether and how to move patients.
- Working closely with doctors and nurses in accident and emergency departments, briefing them as their patient arrives.
- Replace supplies and disposable items on ambulance.
Requirements
- B.Sc Degree in Nursing
- 2-3 years experience as an Ambulance/Emergency Nurse or related field.
- Ability to make quick and accurate decisions pertaining to patient care and routes
- Nursing license is required.
- Proximity to the location is an added advantage.
