Job Title: General Manager
Location: Port Harcourt
Role
- Responsible for the overall management of the Company's business in Port Harcourt;
- Liaise with shipping lines/agents and port operators in the region to generate business for the Company;
- Plan and coordinate the operations of the Company in the Port Harcourt region; and
- Provide leadership towards determining and meeting its business objectives.
Requirement
- Proven track record, practical knowledge and deep operating experience of all aspects of shipping and warehouse management;
- At least 10 years senior management experience in a similar role;
- Ability to persuade and influence others;
- Proactive and result oriented; and
- Must be able to deploy office automation tools to great effect in achieving results.
- Ability to set appropriate targets and be able to surpass targets.
- Possession of advanced degrees would be added advantage.
- Applicants must also be familiar with MS Office automation tools, and enterprise solution packages relevant to their various roles
