Job Title: Legal Officer
Location: Nigeria
Role
- Prepare legal documents, review contracts, memorandum and correspondence;
- Provide legal counsel on issues from actual or anticipated lawsuits;
- Anticipate and guard against legal risks facing the company;
- Conduct and coordinate research into a variety of legal issues;
- Liaise with the relevant authorities as needed;
- Assist in the resolution of commercial disputes.
Requirement
- At least 10 years relevant working experience;
- Law degree with a good academic record;
- Proven ability to prepare legal drafts;
- Strong communication and presentation skills;
- Proficient in analyzing and reviewing documents.
- Possession of advanced degrees would be added advantage.
- Applicants must also be familiar with MS Office automation tools, and enterprise solution packages relevant to their various roles.
