Job Title: Process Documentation Specialist

Location: Tin Can - Apapa, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Work closely with the technology and Process Excellence team to plan, create, and manage the overall process documentation.
  • Ensure that standard conventions and tools are used in the documentation of processes, such as policies, checklists, forms, process maps, etc.
  • Review the availability of process documents on a recurring basis to ensure that the most recent version is available.
  • Address and escalate any process deficiencies to the relevant stakeholders throughout the process documentation stage.
  • Define value stream mapping for process improvement initiatives.
  • Review the process changes with the Process Improvement specialist to project the potential impact across all business units.
  • For a specific period oversee the organizing and archiving  the e-document system
  • Manage other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration / Economics / Logistics or related fields with equivalent working experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Quality Systems and process documentation.
  • Knowledge of quality control processes and ISO 9001 standards and Quality systems at a high level.
  • Experience in hands-on implementation of continuous improvement programs and Lean solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and communication skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements.
  • Solid project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver timely results.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-driven, good leadership, and strong verbal communication skills to facilitate cross border interactions and discussions
  • Good in process/value stream mapping tools e.g., Microsoft Visio, Draw.io, Visual Paradigm, etc.
  • Proficient in the use of GSuite or Microsoft Office.
