We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Systems Support Engineer
Location: Warri, Delta
Employment Type: Contract
The Position
- The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding on Managing and monitoring all installedsystemsand infrastructure. Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operatingsystems, application software andsystemmanagement tools. Ensuring the highest levels ofsystemsand infrastructure availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
- Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
- Setting up accounts for new users
- Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
- Testing new technology
- Possibly training more junior staff members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (or Equivalent) in Computer Science / Engineer or a related discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in I.T industry.
