The Institute of Governance and Social Research (IGSR) is non-profit, non-political, non-religious and non-governmental research oriented organization based in Jos. IGSR is implementing a 3 year Peace-Building Project in Jos and its environs, funded by Nigeria Stability and Reconciliation Programme (NSRP) and UK Department for International Development (DFID).
As part of the organization's staff capacity building, it seeks to employ experienced, intelligent, creative and dynamic persons to join its project team as:
Job Title: Programme Officer

Job Description
The Programme Officer will be responsible for;
- An Output/Component activity of the project which will be assigned to him/her;
- Work closely with the Programme Manager (who he/she reports to); and
- As well as any other matter related to the management of the project
Requirement
- Qualified candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Social Sciences, Bachelors in Law (LLB) and the Humanities and must have made a Second Class Upper Division in the Degree examination.
- Good experience in research methodology is an added advantage.
