Job Title: Food Technologist
Location: Agege, Lagos
Duties and Responsibilities
- Generating new product ideas
- Monitoring the use of additives
- Controlling production hygiene and quality control standards
- Ensuring that stringent food safety standards are met
- Identifying and choosing products from suppliers
- Evaluating and inspecting suppliers
- Testing and examining samples
- Writing reports
- Liaising with marketing staff.
Requirements
- Graduate Degree in Food Science / Technology, Food / Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Nutrition, Microbiology, or Chemistry
- At least 2 years work experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Good team working abilities
- Confidence
- The ability to work independently
- Meticulous attention to detail, especially regarding food hygiene and safety
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
