Job Description
- The Organization seeks to recruit Research Fellows as soon as possible to work closely with and report to the Board of Trustees.
- The Research Fellows will set the research agenda for the organization and lead the research team in the creation, dissemination and utilization of high quality research.
- The Research Fellows will be responsible for production of publications and dissemination of materials or activities on research results research tasks locate, review and synthesize relevant materials; preparation of research proposals; preparation of correspondence, reports and presentations; and exchange with other institutions working on a broad range of issues relevant to the organization's core focus areas.
Requirements
The Research Fellows should have the following skills and experiences:
- PhD in Economics, Development Studies, Mathematics, Statistics, Public Policy, Sociology or any related discipline
- Respected relevant academic research and publications in the policy/economics field
- Ability to use statistical packages (such as SPSS)
- Experience working in a policy research organisation will be an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- A working knowledge of French (would be an asset)
Compensation will be set according to the experience of the candidate.
