Job Title: Copywriter

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• We need a candidate with excellent writing and research skills to join our team and write and edit copy for various projects.Interpreting briefs to produce original content
• Writing copy that complements the creative concepts for websites, campaigns, offline and social media
• Reworking content based on feedback from stakeholders
• Ensuring all copies are proofread and free of errors
• Using research to establish a strategy for reaching out to the target audience
• Communications to customers and ensure consistency in the brand voice
• Formulating and integrating keywords for Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

Key Requirements

• You should have a degree/diploma in Journalism, Communications or related field
• You have prior experience as a Copywriter as well as a portfolio of copy samples
• You have experience with web markup language and search engine optimization.
• Experience working with content management systems such as WordPress etc. is a strong plus.
• You should be familiar with commonly used style guides.
• You possess exceptional writing and research skills.
• You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• You organize and deliver work within timelines.
• Can work independently as well as within a team.
