We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Human Resources Officer

Location: Alimosho, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
  • Provide counseling on policies and procedures
  • Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
  • Create and implement effective onboarding plans
  • Assists in developing training and development programs
  • Assist in performance management processes
  • Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
  • Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
  • Assists in recruitment and onboarding

Requirements and Skills

  • Interested candidates should possess a B.Sc in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management, Human Resources Management or relevant field. Further training is a plus
  • 3 - 5 years relevant work experience.
  • Good knowledge of performance management
  • HR Credentials (e.g. PHR from the HR Certification Institute) an advantage
  • Proven experience as HR officer.
  • Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
  • Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
  • Proficient in MS Office; Excel, MS word, Power Point is compulsory
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
  • Strong ethics and reliability
  • The successful candidates should be willing to travel to various locations of the company
