Job Description

• The Collateral Management Officer is to ensure that processing of lien (pledge), margin, securities lending and other collateral management task are promptly and efficiently executed to preserve customers’ confidence and satisfaction.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for Central Securities Depository (CSD) Lien/pledge account management.
• Create and release lien; produce lien advice; generate, analyze, and disseminate lien information (reporting) to stakeholders.
• Margin Lending administration.
• Create Margin account; onboard and offboard clients; detach shares; generate analyze and disseminate information (reporting).
• Process and execute Securities Lending and Borrowing (SLB) transactions. Detach shares to and from Lender, Agent pool and borrower account.
• AMCON account management.
• Perform AMCON global search; detach shares to and from obligors, AMCON
• collateral, proprietary and trading account.
• Attends to enquiries and complaints from investors, lenders, stakeholders, and regulators.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Unit/Departmental Head.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of a First Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or any related discipline from a reputable institution.
• Relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 1 year post-graduation experience in an Operations role in the Capital Market or any other Financial Service sector.
• Highly proficient in use of Microsoft excel, PowerPoint and analytical tools.
