Job Description
- The Application Support Officer is responsible for managing the resolution of application and system issues that arise across a business.
- Responding to technical problems that occur abruptly and require immediate solutions.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Reviews and evaluates reports to ensure they are error-free and internal and external transactions are properly matched.
- Possessing specialist knowledge of operating systems, devices, applications and software
- Providing technical support to teams within the organization, and to external clients when required
- Assisting with systems integrations
- Maintaining and updating technical documents and procedures
- Identifying and resolving technical issues
- Delivering regular and customized training to team within the business
- Preparing maintenance plans and upgrading schedules for the organization’s systems
- Developing reports for teams across the business
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering / Development or any other related field
- Minimum of 3 years support core desktop and web applications in Java, C#, NET, Node, PHP, Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL.
