The KWASU Institute of Professional Studies invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Kwara State University Professional Degree Programmes in the following areas:
- B.Sc. Accounting Professional Degree
- B.Sc. Economics Professional Degree
- B.Sc. Enterprise Creation and Management Professional Degree B.Sc. Mass Communication Professional Degree
- B.Sc. Public Administration Professional Degree
All degree Programmes are for duration of four years of eleven semesters for students admitted into 100 Level, and three years of eight semesters for students admitted through Direct Entry into 200 Level. Each year is made up of Harmattan Semester (October-January), Rain Semester (February-May) and Summer Semester (June-September).
Students of each programme are prepared for respective professional examinations concurrently and are, therefore, poised to gain bath academically and professionally. The Institute has Memoranda of Understanding with respective professional bodies (ICAN, NIPR, APCON etc.) and possesses the manpower to equip students for professional qualification.
Requirements
- Admission into year one (100L) - Candidates must possess the minimum UTME cut-off point in relevant subjects required by each department as published in the JAMB Brochure for desired disciplines. Candidates must also possess credit pass in English, Mathematics and 3 'O' Level credits in relevant subjects.
- Holders of OND or HND with at least lower credit pass in addition to credit pass in 'O' Level English Language, Mathematics with 3 relevant subjects.
- Candidates with Advanced Level IJMB with at least a total of 5 average grade points in three papers which must all be relevant.

Applications are done online through Professional Degree Programme on KWASU website. Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Ten Thousand Naira only (10,000.00), after which screening, verification and registration take place.
