Job Title: VP of Operations
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Job Description
- You will be a leader in a high-performing team responsible for people operations for a global workforce (NYC and Lagos).
- We are expanding at a rapid pace and need to expand our expertise to build the infrastructure now that will enable us to quickly scale across africa and manage centrally.
- We need you to identify, recommend and lead automation and process improvement in the area of global operations and reporting.
- To be successful you will bring strong expertise and experience, a natural intellectual curiosity and a passion for excellence.
- Additionally, you'll need to be proactive in building relationships cross-functionally with Finance, HR, Legal, IT, TV and other business partners.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a full operational strategy that effectively coordinates across functions to drive organizational delivery and performance
- Develop, implement and evaluate key performance indicators for multiple departments
- Provide weekly/monthly operational reports and updates on company performance to the COO
- Collaborate with the CTO to direct and drive the operations IT strategy for faster delivery of core operations metrics.
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications:
- MBA qualification from foreign academic institution is desirable
- 5+ years progressive commercial experience in an operations / senior management capacity
- Proven experience in organizational development, personnel management and strategic planning.
- Proven ability to organize, summarize, clarify and communicate ideas simply, succinctly and accurately
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate efforts in a cross functional team to achieve results
- Strong management reporting and financial analysis skills
- Experience in Entertainment /Media industry
