We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Associate Consultant, Human Resources

Location: Isolo, Lagos

Supervision Received: Senior Consultant, HR
Supervision Exercised: Nil

Job Summary

  • We need a skilled candidate to execute client specific HR strategy, identify human capital inefficiencies and offer solutions.

General Responsibility
This position exists to ensure:

  • Monthly production of Beckley online video training materials
  • Regular HR functions for clients and the company
  • Effective marketing of company services and activities through social media platforms.

Activities Include:

  • Meeting with management to discuss HR challenges, objectives, and needs.
  • Identifying workforce concerns or inefficiencies.
  • Advising on HR policies, processes, and tools.
  • Reviewing human capital analytics to assess new policy effectiveness.
  • Analytic reports and presentations for management.
  • Assuring that staff operations are efficient and in line with corporate aims.
  • Recruiting and training new personnel.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the latest industry developments.
  • Work with your hierarchy to formulate a video training strategy for the company
  • Produce monthly Beckley Small Business online video Training materials
  • Carry out regular HR functions for clients and BCL including recruitment, training, etc
  • Monthly visitations to clients’ offices to review HR issues and obtain other information for BCL.
  • Regularly update employee records (hard and soft copies) for the company and clients.
  • Deal with clients’ requests regarding human resources issues, rules, regulations etc
  • Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews.
  • Work with your hierarchy to prepare and implement an online marketing plan for company services
  • Manage online blogging and ensure social media presence for BCL activities and services – WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Google and internet-based platforms
  • Attend to duties assigned to you by the Managing Consultant
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by your hierarchy/management

Accountabilities

  • Probation tracking and performance reports for employees in clients’ organizations
  • On-line blogging and social media presence for company activities and services
  • Monthly clients’ visitation and staff reports
  • Monthly activity report indicating achievements and challenges
  • Summary of survey reports quarterly

Qualifications / Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, Humanities or Business Administration.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Extensive computer skills and knowledge
  • Skills in written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work with others in a team
  • Organised and able to work with little or no supervision.
