Job Title: Sesame Seeds Zonal Procurement Manager
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
- The ideal candidate would be someone with exceptional procurement experience in a global trading house for minimum of 10 to 15 years.
- He should have contacts with local buyers for the commodities like Sesame Seeds, Dry Ginger, Dry Hibiscus Flower etc.
- He should have operated under volume targets, and have understanding of pricing and delivery models for the same.
- He should also be aware of quality norms for each of these products, with differences for different clients.
- The candidate will be responsible for heading the procurement for a selected commodity for the entire country.
- He should also have experience in managing multiple warehouses in various locations.
Qualification/Minimum Requirements
- 10-15 years experience in Procurement of Sesame Seeds, Dry Ginger, Dry Hibiscus Flower etc.
- Bachelors / Higher Degree in Education or relevant field.
- Well established contacts with Local Buyers.
- Must be able to operate on Excel & maintain reports.
- Should be able to show and verify past performance credentials.
- Able to work and lead a team of managers under him.
- Must be proactive
- Must be detailed
