JAF Bakery formerly known as Alafia Bakery was established in 1955. An institution with over 50 years of reputable standing in Ibadan. Alafia Bread emerged in the ancient city of Ibadan and started with the production of small loaves of bread that tasted so good and was also very affordable, bridging the gap between quality and quantity.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Kitchen Assistant

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic
• Washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately
• Sorting, storing and distributing ingredients
• Washing, peeling, chopping, cutting and cooking foodstuffs and helping to prepare salads and desserts
• Disposing of rubbish
• Organising linen laundry
• Cleaning the food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas

Requirements and skills

• Candidates should possess an HND / Degree
• Understanding the importance of health and hygiene
• Plenty of stamina
• A great team player
• The ability to listen and learn fast.
