Job Title: Polytechnic Librarian
Location: Kaura Namoda, Zamfara State
Responsibilities:
- Framing overall Library Policy, personal contacts and liaison with departments
- Preparation of Library budgets
- Engaging in matters of common interest. Responsible to the Rector for smooth
- Running of library of the Institution e.g. attending departmental meetings as member of committee, etc
- Responsible for the smooth running of the library
- Engaging in matters of common Interest
Qualifications and Experience
- A holder of M.L.S
- 15 years cognate experience
There must be evidence of the following publications:
- 4 journals and 3 conference/seminar papers or four (4) chapters contributions in text book(s) / two standard text books
- Evidence of registration with professional body
- Evidence of community service
Condition of Service
- The appointment is for an initial period of five years renewable for another five years and no more.
