  • As a Machinery Diagnostic Engineer, you are tasked to provide customers service solutions to address critical rotating machinery assets, protection and monitoring system.
  • This will include evaluating machinery condition based on rotor dynamic analysis. You will get to experience the cutting-edge tools used in Baker Hughes

Responsibilities
As a Machinery Diagnostics Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Performing rotating and reciprocating machinery diagnostics jobs at customer’s site
  • Configuring and optimizing of Bently Nevada Software’s for their effective usage and perform data Collection Analysis & Report preparation for diagnostics
  • Performing remote Machinery and System Audit using Remote Access Service
  • Assuring the job is executed in a timely manner and in accordance with the customer’s schedule
  • Identifying problems and take the initiative to eliminate those problems for project success.

Fuel your Passion
To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5 years experience working in the related  field maintenance of turbo machinery
  • Have good written and oral communication skills to convey technical concepts to business and technical persona plus have a “Hand-on approach"
  • Have good computer skills using MS Operating Systems, specifically Windows Server & application S/W such as MS office, Access
  • Be able to work under stressful working conditions and have electronics and/or mechanical trouble shooting skills.
  • Be knowledgeable  of various type of rotating machines and understand power plants (coal & gas based), refineries, petrochemical plant,
  • Have experience in maintenance or condition monitoring of rotating and reciprocating machines including centrifugal compressors, gas turbines, steam turbines, pumps etc.
  • Have a valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate ( please indicate clearly on resume)
