Job Title: Trainee Pharmacy Technician

Lagos

Job Descriptions
  • Responsible for accurately filling, sorting and shipping all orders on a daily basis.
  • Ensure that all non-medication items (mail, forms, returns labels etc.) are sorted and shipped accurately to facilities daily.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work under direct supervision of the Pharmacy Supervisor(s) and team leader(s).
  • Assist Pharmacist(s) to complete all tasks required in the dispensing and distribution of pharmacy orders daily.
  • Meet all production standards within the first ninety days of training and employment.
  • Fill all prescription orders accurately and label all products properly.
  • Generate prescription labels using the Oasis System when needed.
  • Properly document all prescription errors using proper error codes and technician ID stamp numbers.
  • Forward all orders noted "Order-Cancelled", to the inventory restock bins for inventory to process.
  • Ensure workflow in all pharmacy areas are maintained, not just the area you are assigned to for the day.
  • Display behavior that exemplifies employee code of conduct.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality are required; arrive to work on time, work scheduled hours.
  • Ability to work mandatory overtime, when needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Education and Qualifications
  • Knowledge/Skills
  • NCE/OND/HND
  • Ability to successfully pass the Pharmacy Technician Certification exam within 2 years of initial license date.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written.
  • Basic math skills are required.
