Job Title: CQ Auditor & Systems Coordinator

Location: Lagos

Reports to: CQO
Department: Central Quality
Band: 3
Internally Relates with: HoDs/ BuHs
Externally Relates with: Certification Auditors
Travel : 31% - 60%

Duties / Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Coordinate between Central Quality and BU functions to standardize & sustain the Quality & Food Safety Systems.
• Risk identification, assessment & escalation & coordinate mitigation with users.
• Supervise Good Hygiene practices in processing plants through periodic inspections & drive continual improvements.
• Supervise daily quality trends from manufacturing and handling deviations.
• Carry out Food Safety System internal audit program under supervision of CQO aiming to continual improvement & no surprises in external audits.
• Coordinate and maintain Food Safety Systems data (MIS Data) periodic reporting to CQO.
• Coordinate periodic review of Quality and Food Safety systems.
• Coordination of ISO training program plan & execution by Central Quality.
• Coordinate document control of ISO Systems.
• Coordinate external audit preparation and maintain related documentation.
• Support site preparations for MANCAP inspections.
• Cross check site Food Safety processes aiming to be prepared for un-announced external audit.
• Maintain CAPA tracker for all means of improvement in food safety.

Education / Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Education: University Graduate / Postgraduate preferably in Chemistry / Food Science / Agricultural Science
• Minimum of 7 years experience of Quality in Supply Chain Mgmt./Procurement
• Interpersonal skills
• Communication
• Lead auditor certification of relevant ISO standards
