We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Tax Associate

Location: Ilupeju, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Track yearly and quarterly revenue and expenses for the preparation of state and federal tax returns
  • Create additional documentation as needed, including internal tax and forecasting reports
  • Collaborate with team members to communicate tax strategies to coworkers outside of the accounting department
  • Maintain an accurate database of tax records and manage electronic bookkeeping software
  • Stay updated on industry developments
  • The candidate will bein charge of Tax client engagements
  • Provide adequate support for tax enegagement team members
  • Have indepth knowledge and understandingof tax laws
  • Possess knowledge of managing tax engagements

Qualifications

  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with a minimum of second class upper (B.Sc./B.A/e.t.c) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in any discipline with a minimum of upper credit
  • Have a minimum of credit in five (5) WASSCE/GCE/NECO Ordinary Level subjects or acceptable equivatlent examination, including Mathematics and English Language in one sitting only
  • Experienced in tracking and analyzing data using accounting software, such as Microsoft Excel or Intuit QuickBooks
  • ICAN/ACCA/CITN Preffered
  • Minimum of 4 years relevant experience
  • Experience working in a reputable Consulting/Accounting firm is an added advantage.

  • In-depth knowledge of state and federal tax codes, laws, and regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to details
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage time effectively
  • Customer oriented.

Remuneration
N5,000,000 - N7,000,000 Annually.
