Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Lekki 1, Lagos

Job Description

  • The Business Development Manager will lead activities for acquiring new business for the Company’s Engineering & Technical Services Unit.
  • He / She will be responsible for the Marketing / sales cycle including Strategic marketing / sales Planning / Forecasting, Client Identification, Client Relationships, Sales Strategy, Proposals, Presentations, Closing Contracts and for monitoring client satisfaction for work performed.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensuring company’s growth objectives are attained; articulating new business development opportunities and identifying, negotiating and managing relationships with technical partners in line with corporate goals.
  • Identify prospects and develop sales strategies to penetrate and get new accounts. This includes preparation of presentations and tenders.
  • Lead the formulation, execution and monitoring of company’s business development, market penetration strategies and plans for enhancing business growth.
  • Develop and articulate a comprehensive tactical business development plan to accomplish the organization’s business goal.
  • Identify, evaluate and develop new business opportunities and feasibility reports supporting growth based on intelligence.
  • Collate & input data for market survey & analysis and gather customer’s information.
  • Monitor company performance against agreed business target and identify areas of improvement.
  • Assist in the preparation of bids/proposals.
  • Promote and create awareness of all products & Services from Librod’s business alliances.
  • Manage relationships with key accounts and ensure prompt payment.
  • Ensure timely management of the performance of all team members.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of B.Eng degree in related discipline. Professional membership (NSE & COREN) will be an added advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Technical Sales, Operations & Maintenance experience within the Food & Beverage, Brewery, Cosmetics & Pharmaceutical Industries & Oil and Gas.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a managerial capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of up-coming and on-going key projects in Oil & Gas / FMCG sector.
