Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

Job Details
- Develops finance organizational strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction; establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives.
- Establishes finance operational strategies by evaluating trends; establishing critical measurements; determining production, productivity, quality, designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change.
- Monitoring financial performance by measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances managing the Finance Team and oversee the preparation of all financial information for the company, weekly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Develops organization prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities; projecting acquisition and expansion prospects; analyzing organization operations; identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement; accumulating capital to fund expansion.
- Develops financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements; identifying monetary resources; Manage the capital request and budgeting processes.
- Maximizes return on invested funds by identifying investment opportunities; maintaining relationships with the investment community.
- Managing external relationships issues and dealing like banks, tax and regulatory authorities, clients and suppliers.
Requirements
- The CFO will be a seasoned and mature leader with at least 5 years of broad finance experience.
- A qualified Chartered Accountant added advantage
- A minimum of a first degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; MBA is a plus.
- Demonstrated excellence in managing finance, accounting, budgeting, control, and reporting
- Skill in examining, developing, reengineering, and recommending financial and technology policies and procedures.
- Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting a strategic vision into an operational model
- A collaborative and flexible style, with a strong service mentality. Seen as a team player who is committed to lifelong learning
- A hands-on manager with integrity and a desire to work in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
- An effective communicator, with strong oral and written skills.

Experience and Qualifications
- HND/BSC in relevant discipline.
- 3-5 work experience in related field.
