Job Title: Physical & Health Teacher

Location: Ajah, Lagos.
Employment Type: Full Time / Permanent
Severity: Urgent

Role Brief

• PE Teacher will be responsible for advancing their students’ physical ability and knowledge of sports.
• They are responsible for the welfare of their students and for ensuring that students can gain the qualifications they need to advance their education or their desired career paths after school.
• Supervising practical PE lessons, including both indoor and outdoor classes.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that children compete to their ability level and aren’t exposed to unnecessary injury or illness through school sports
• Motivating school children to take up new sports or athletic pursuits
• Evaluating the performance of students throughout the school year
• Attending parents’ evenings and providing parents with comprehensive reports on their child’s progress
• Training and coaching school sports teams to compete and succeed in nationwide events
• Transporting individual competitors, school teams and other teachers to and from school sporting events
• Ensuring that students pass their practical and theoretical PE exams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in related field
• Prior experience as PHE teacher.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding planning and problem-solving skills.
• Supportive, flexible disposition.

Salary
N80,000 - N120,000 Monthly Net.
