We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: ReactJs Frontend Engineer

Location: Gbagada, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are looking for well-tested React JS Engineers who know their onions and are ready to craft great frontend solutions.
• As a React Frontend Engineer at Pearlsoft, you will be part of a team creating highly reusable react components that enhances the users experience with the ability to translate UI designs into working React UI components using googles material UI guidelines. You will also be working with backend developers to consume REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Experience in turning Figma mockups into working applications
• Follows good practice for software development (clean code, test coverage, source code
• version control, pull requests, code review, issue tracking, graceful as well as aggressive
• error handling).
• Using ReactJs, Redux, Flux to implement user stories
• Converting test cases into unit test (using Jest) and ensuring 100% code coverage
• Code documentation
• Mentoring and teaching React JS to team members
• Defining frontend architecture and roadmap for new and existing projects

Job Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 3 years experience in developing production grade React applications
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, NodeJs, Express, MongoDB
• Experience with Figma/Adobe XD is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields
• Proven experience in converting UI/UX designs into React UI
• Proven experience in consuming backend REST API
• Knowledge of DevOps for CI/CD, Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub, Bitbucket
• Knowledge of React Native will be an added advantage
• Use of React Bootstrap, Material UI, Jquery to build rich interface
• Knowledge of Agile methods for software development.
• Application of the right data structures and algorithms in problem solving.
• Proficiency in design patterns and SOLID principles in creating good design.
• Critical thinking.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Teamwork, proactive, self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook.
