Ibrahim Shehu Shema ICT and Business Institute, Katsina, is a new, state-of-the art tertiary institution established under the Katsina State of Nigeria Law No. 8 of 2013. The Institute will run National Board for Technical Education (N.B.T.E) accredited courses leading to the award of National Innovative Diploma (NID) in ICT and Business Studies. The Institute will also offer a wide range of professional and career enhancement programs, seminars, and workshops at advanced certificates and diploma. Our programmes are dual-path, with emphasis on both congnitive and practical skills. Job Position Senior Assistant Registrar
Location: Katsina
Job Responsibilities
The duties of the Senior Assistant Registrar shall include to:
- Participate in leadership of the general administration of the Institute.
- Show ability to supervise and coordinate day-to-day administrative work.
- Show initiative and high sense of responsibility.
- Demonstrate of ability in the use of computer.
- Be conversant with the Institute's Laws and other related Regulations and Procedures.
- Be involved in minute and report writing.
- Carry out other administrative duties as may be assigned.
Requirements
Qualification and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Law, Sociology, or Public Administration from a recongnised institution of higher learning.
- Minimum of Nine (9) years post qualification.
- Experience in administering institution of higher learning or University similar organisation.
- Ability for effective supervision and coordination in tertiary institution.
Condition of Service
- The conditions of service are similar to what obtain in similar institutions of higher learning in Nigeria and are revised by the Government from time to time. Details will be discussed during the interview.
