Job Title: Veterinarian
Location: Oyo / Abeokuta, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Treat sick and injured animals by prescribing medication, dressing wounds, performing surgery and setting bones
- Promote the health and wellness of animals by advising animal owners about sanitation measures, feeding and general care
- Record actions by documenting and updating forms, reports, animal records and reporting disease
- Perform quarantine or testing or surgeries procedures on animals
Essential Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree
- 2 - 5 years work experience as a vet doctor
- Ability to use medical technologies during diagnosis, research and surgery of animals
- Ability to work extended hours and on-demand
- Knowledge of animal behaviour
- Outstanding skill in handling both large and small animals while performing precise tasks.
