Job Title: Food Purchaser (Food Procurement & Distribution Personnel)

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• We are looking for a young and energetic male to join our food procurement and distribution company.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing of perishable and non-perishable foodstuffs, receiving products from suppliers, quality control, storage, and distribution.

Responsibilities

• Gather client request and organize according to supplier and items to be purchase from local market.
• Send request to different suppliers, follow-up and ensure timely deliveries to all outlets.
• Prepare budget for items to be purchased from local market and proceed to procure and distribute to client’s outlets.
• Ensure all deliveries satisfy the assigned orders and report any back ordered or missing products to management.
• Prepare delivery note for foodstuff supplies across client’s location.
• Prepare report for products supplied and send to management for review.
• Prepare invoices for all products supplied for management review and approval.
• Build and maintain very good relationships with both suppliers and client staff
• Handle all client and supplier inquiries regarding orders, status, changes, and payment.

Qualifications

• Minimum academic qualification of a Diploma in any course.
• Proximity to Ajah-Sangotedo Area will be an advantage.
