Job Title: Audit Manager

Job Description
- As a result of an ongoing restructuring in our Audit and Assurance, Advisory and Consulting practice, there exists in our firm for smart, independent minded, dedicated, result-oriented and experienced Audit Manager with demonstrated technical competencies.
- The ideal candidate will report directly to the Managing Partner.
Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate activities of the firm (Audit Section)
- Implementation of Corporate Objectives of the firm.
- Routine Statutory Audit of companies in different sectors of the economy.
- Review and Finalization of Audited Financial Statements.
- Plan, review and report on all audit and consulting assignments in line with
Clients Deliverables/Timelines:
- Develop and implement comprehensive internal control procedures for Clients.
- Handle and Implement Process Restructuring and Reorganization for clients.
- Perform administrative functions necessary to ensure smooth running of the firm.
Qualifications
- A University Degree in any field with a minimum of second class upper degree.
- Be a Chartered Accountant and member of ICAN.
- Have a minimum of 5 years post qualification (ACA) external audit experience in a Medium-sized firm of Chartered Accountants.
- A sound practical understanding of IFRS is VERY fundamental to scaling through to the next stage of our selection process.
- Not more than 40 years old.
- A second degree in Management will be an added advantage.
Experience/Exposure
The ideal candidate must:
- Have been leading Audit of large Manufacturing Companies/Commerce and Public Sector organizations/Donor Assisted Projects in the last five years.
- Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (MsWord, Excel, Powerpoint) an any one of accounting packages such as SUN, Peachtree, Tally etc.
- Be full of initiatives and be able to lead professional colleagues especially at critical times.
