Job Title: Program / Administrative Assistant

Location:
Abuja

Job Description
  • Responsible for assisting in organizing and coordinating program activities, contributing to reports, and performing other programmatic duties as required.
  • Assist in the development of the program narrative reports. Take minutes of program meetings. Serve as rapporteur for program events, workshops and conferences.
  • Assist in the preparation and organization of events, workshops and conferences.
  • Assist in the collection of data for monitoring and evaluation of activities.
  • Assist with event preparation by providing administrative and logistics assistance.
  • Assist with sorting and distribution of newsletters. Clerical duties including filing, photocopying, scanning
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in governance, development or any social sciences
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in program management preferably on a democracy and governance project
  • Training experience including material development, design and implementation of training activities.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft
  • Possess initiative, a positive attitude and have strong value for loyalty, respect for confidentiality and discretion, dependability.
  • Excellent oral and writing skills
  • Highest consideration will be given to applicants who demonstrate strong and proven track record in elections related conflict resolution and violence prevention work.
