Job Title: Finance Officer
Location: Abuja
Job Description
- Responsible for managing of project finances and providing technical support to local partners on financial management and planning. Develop and track project and activity budgets.
- Ensure that financial activities and reporting comply with internal and donor requirements.
- Responsible for preparing and disbursement of participant travel reimbursement. Preparing of periodic financial reports and bank reconciliation.
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting and or financial management
- Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in the financial management
- In depth knowledge and experience on European Union financial management and financial reporting, sub-grants management and procedures.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft
- Excellent oral and writing communication skill.
- Highest consideration will be given to applicants who demonstrate strong and proven track record in elections related conflict resolution and violence prevention work.
