Job Title: Housekeeper (Hospitality)

Description
- We need a professional Housekeeper able to attend to our facilities with integrity and attention to detail. The goal is to create a clean and orderly environment for our guests that will become a critical factor in maintaining and strengthening the company'sreputation.
Responsibilities
- Clean corridors, lobbies, stairways,and lounges as well as guest rooms
- Make up beds and change linens as required
- Distribute towels, and room supplies using wheeled carts or by hand
- Restock room supplies such as drinking glasses, soaps, shampoos, mini bar
- Replace dirty linens with clean items
- Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition
- Check all appliances in rooms are in working order
- Realign furniture and amenities according to the prescribed layout
- Respond to guest queries and requests
- Respond to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills, broken glasses
- Deliver any requested housekeeping items to guest rooms
- Remove room service items
- Ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms
- Follow all company safety and security procedures
- Observe and report damage to hotel property
Competency / Skill / Requirements
- SSCE (Senior Secondary School Certificate)
- Proven experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Customer-oriented and friendly
- Prioritization and time management skills
- Working quickly without compromising quality
- Knowledge of the English language
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques,and methods
- Physical stamina and mobility including the ability to reach, kneel and bend
- Preferably male for gender balance
