Job Title: Farm Supervisor

Location: Wuna Village, Gwagwalada Area Council, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are looking for motivated farm supervisors to spear head initial farming of a 150-hectare farmland in Gwagwalada area council FCT.

Position Description

• The candidate will oversee and supervise farm operations and workers on the farm. He/she will be responsible for supervising farm hands; therefore, leadership skills are highly beneficial.

Main Tasks and Duties
Include but are not limited to;

• Train and supervise farm hands; coordinate and direct their activities.
• Supervise a wide range of farm operations including cultivation, sowing, spraying, harvesting and marketing.
• Ensures deadlines are met for activating such as seeding and harvesting.
• Oversees the work of farm inputs.
• Inspect farm equipment and ensure routine maintenance are carried out and repairs are made when necessary.
• Monitoring of irrigation systems.
• Ensure and enforce compliance with government regulations, health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• A graduate of any Agric related course with the following preferences;
• Crop Management
• 0-5 years experience
• 1st Class and 2nd Class Upper.

Remuneration

• Salary: N50,000 - N100,000 / month.
• Competitive salary with good incentives and profit sharing.
