Job Purpose

  • To assess, track and report on the delivery of value by client solutions and partnerships in line with set metrics and benchmarks.
  • Clearly articulate and document business, stakeholder, solution and transition requirements. Assist the Business in the Creation of Business Cases and Cost-Benefit Analysis.
  • Investigate and study current practices; designing modifications, Business  and industry trends and explore areas of collaboration with potential partners
  • To initiate, drive and report on periodic re-assessment of existing relationships to enhance value and identify new sources of value for the client, partners and bank.
  • To analyse trends and highlight new areas of risk patterns that requires mitigation

Key Responsibilities
Client Strategy and Partnerships:

  • Works with various business units and Client Solutions teams to assess client solutions and partnerships
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with teams internally to execute priorities and joint roadmaps with partners and help solve critical issues across the organization.
  • Provide feedback on parameters for client metrics to drive growth and achieve scalability aligned to the strategic value drivers.
  • Stays abreast of market and competitive developments in order to support innovative and value-added services to clients across all segments.
  • Constantly scan the industry, explore new areas of collaboration, development, or market maturities, and see how this can be replicated as best practice or first in Market innovations for the Bank
  • Constantly staying ahead of customer trends and industry patterns, creating new frontiers for exploration by the bank.

Products and Solutions:

  • Works and collaborates directly with the Client Solutions and Engineering teams to deliver solutions for clients and partners.
  • Provides input into the design, development and implementation of fit-for purpose products and solutions across the value chain with digital transformation and simplicity as a core design principle.
  • Tracks and reports on work plans for new and improved capabilities, together with internal and external partners and maintain service levels agreements with relevant functions and third parties.
  • Monitor and review the relevant teams’ Service level agreements (SLA) to ensure compliance.
  • Monitor transaction patterns, investigating emerging risk areas and mitigants required.

People Practices:

Risk Management:

  • Ensures compliance with the Group and Country Operational Risk and Compliance standards.
  • Ensures risk management and adherence to all regulatory and governance standards for the continued sustainability of the client solutions.
  • Tracks that the design and development of solutions are achieved within prudent market risk and conduct parameters.
  • Ensures adherence to escalation procedures for the reporting and resolution of specific breaches of policy, regulatory breaches, key product issues and control failings or weaknesses.

Financial Performance Management:

  • Supports achievement of the financial and non-financial performance metrics required for client solutions and partnerships managed in alignment with Client Solutions and Client Segment teams.
  • Identifies and optimises profit opportunities for Product and solutions through the relevant risk/reward trade-offs.

Social Responsibility:

  • Provides input into social, economic and environmental initiatives for the Client solutions strategy, culture and ways of working (e.g. financial inclusion, job creation and enterprise development, infrastructure, Africa trade and investment, education skills and development, and employee development training).

Qualifications

  • First Degree in any field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
