Mobile Producing Nigeria Unlimited (MPN) is a subsidiary of the Exxon Mobil Corporation with a long and established of operations in Nigeria. The company oil and natural gas production contribute to one of the largest sources of revenue for the Nigeria government and economy.

EXPERIENCED / SPECIALIST GEOSCIENTISTS

The Role:
The non-specialist candidates must be able to independently interpret and integrate geopgysical, geological, petrophysical and engineeringing data in order to generate well locations and maximize asset value. Experience in 3D seimic interpretation is therefore a pre-requisite for the non-specalist candidates. The specialists must be able to independently provide expert interpretation and services in formation evaluation or geophysical applications or geologic modelling.

The Candidate:

The successful candidate must have clear understanding of basic geosciences concepts and principles as well as be self-motivated with the ability to make effective individuals contributions within a functional team. No previous experience required, but demonstrated ability to learn and integrate quickly is an advantage.

The ideal candidate must fit the following profile:
* Masters degree in Geosciences (Geology or Geophysics).
* Bachelors Degree within a second class upper in Geosciences (Geology or Geophysics) or Physics
* minimum of 5 continous years of relevant industry experience
* Possess NYSC discharge or exemption certificate
