Job Title: Management Accountant
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts.
- To oversee compliance with all financial procedures and regulations and must be able to adapt to a continually evolving business environment.
- Prepare financial management reports.
- Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.
- Monitor and support taxation requirements.
- Evaluate and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and integrity of financial data.
- Preparing and presenting timely management account to the Board as required.
- Ensuring compliance with generally acceptable accounting principles, practices and procedures.
Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
- Accounting degree or equivalent. Membership of relevant professional bodies such as ICAN, ACCA is mandatory.
- Must posses knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices and principles.
- Must posses knowledge and experience of accounting computer applications.
- Minimum of 10 years cognate experience in the management of financial systems and budgets, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing, taxation and providing financial advice.
- Must be 40 years old and above.
