We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Concierge

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• The Porter will serve as the first point of contact for guests, he or she will welcome guests, assist with their luggage, give directions, and support guests during their stay to ensure their comfort.

Responsibilities

• Takes suitcases and bags from guests checking in and, where applicable, tags them and provides customer identification slips
• Carries luggage while escorting guests or passengers to their rooms
• Explains features of rooms and accommodation facilities.
• Tends to the needs of guests for the duration of their stay
• Delivers newspapers to guestrooms.
• Runs errands for guests in some cases
• Parks and retrieves guest vehicles, in some cases.
• Calls taxis for guests.
• Carries departing guests' luggage to cars or taxis
• Maintains the appearance, cleanliness, and safety standards of the hotel.
• Ensures guests leave safely in the event of an evacuation.
• Assist other employees by running their errands such as moving stock and delivering items when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• Secondary School Leaving Certificate / HND / OND / BSc
• 1-2 years experience as a porter.
