Job Title: Head, Strategy and Enterprise Risk Management

Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities

• Possess project and programme management, business analysis, technical delivery, and problem-solving skills.
• Track record of working on high quality strategy implementation with a focus on delivering measurable business improvements.
• Strong commercial awareness with a sharp focus on results.
• Strong knowledge of the financial and insurance industry and an appreciation of the dynamic
• Outstanding qualitative and quantitative analytical skills combined with an ability to apply judgement and think strategically.
• Proven data gathering and analytical skills; conversant with secondary data sources relevant to the insurance industry.
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining an Enterprise Risk Management framework and supporting policies and procedure development
• Proven experience in research and actuarial functions to ensure analyses provide insights for strategy development and executive decisions.
• Proven experience in actuarial support in respect of pricing. valuation, modelling, stress testing and reporting to the Management and Board to enable an objective assessment of the effectiveness and consistency of the actuarial practices within the company's operation
• Strong knowledge of risk management structures to enable prompt identification and management of the risk the company is exposed to.

Qualifications

• First Degree in any discipline from a reputable institution with 2nd Class Upper.
• M.Sc. / MBA is an added advantage
• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. ACIIN).
• Minimum of 8 years' proven experience in strategy execution within the Insurance Industry.
• Possession of advanced skills in MS Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Suites .
