Job Description
- Reporting to the Board of Directors, the successful candidate will have overall responsibility for development of strategy, execution of programs and partnership development
- He/she will also be responsible for leading the management team, engaging the board, running the organization and facilitating key decision making activities
Required skills & experience
Experience:
- Experience of leading the turnaround of a company
- Over 10+ years of field experience in general Insurance, health insurance, actuarial analysis/accounting, health and other relevant fields
- Track record of building and developing teams - with well developed managerial skills
- Project management experience delivering multiple ongoing streams of work (10+ years)
- Demonstrated commitment to improving health outcomes
- Experience lo working in the Nigeria health landscape including engaging regulators, policy makers, private sector and partners
Skills:
- Effective and persuasive communicator strong interpersonal skills
- Understanding of Nigerian private sector/public sector environments
- Ability to create broad vision for health related programming and execute on vision
- Dynamic and entrepreneurial
Education:
- MD, advanced health management related Master’s Degree, Finance / actuarial related degree or MBA
