Job Detail

• Our client is urgently seeking to hire a HSSE Manager who is proficient in conducting all safety internal audits & risk assessment and implementing various measures to achieve high safety standard in the organisation.

Role Responsibilities

• Proficient in leading the safety cell to analyse the causes & reduce accidents, increase awareness among the employees towards maintenance of safe working conditions
• Developing HSSE plans, overseeing implementation as well as conducting field safety survey, site safety surveillance for performances.
• Responsible for risk assessment for each job, participating in the process of investigation, recording of accident / safety related incidents, and reviewing pre-commissioning & commissioning procedures.
• Strong ability to advise employers / employees on safe & healthy work practises & Health Safety Management Systems.
• Ability to prioritize project workloads based upon available resources and business needs.
• Ability to prepare daily, weekly, and monthly status reports to monitor the compliance, developing sub-contractor safety management guidelines and number of safety motivational training programs to improved safety culture within organisation.
• Good communicator with strong ability to conduct impactful training on safety policies, procedures, loss prevention principles etc.
• Strong ability to manage multiple sites or work locations while ensuring a good safety climate in the workplace

Requirements

• B.Sc. / BA in Safety Management, Engineering or relevant field is preferred
• 10+ years of practical experience in Oil and Gas, and Construction Industries
• Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety is an added advantage.
• An enterprising leader with skills in leading personnel towards accomplishment of common goals.
• Familiar with IOC’s health & safety relevant legislations and standards and ensure workplaces comply with them.
• Proficient in the preparation of HSSE plans, Manuals, Procedures, Guidelines, and related technical reports.

Core Skill:

• Safety Audit, Risk Assessment/ Reports Writing, Loss Prevention Philosophy, Escape, Evacuation and Rescue study, Technical Action Items Monitoring and Proper Closeout and Risk Register maintenance. Good knowledge of several international standards.
