We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Senior Legal Counsel
Location: Nigeria
Responsibilities
- Broad based Legal Advisory functions especially in Commercial Law.
- Preparation of contracts.
- Preparation of briefs for litigation or other dispute resolution process.
- Legal representation at high level meetings internally and externally.
- Liasion duties with top Government functionaries.
- Company secretarial functions.
- Supervising legal documentation of company transactions.
- Such other functions associated with Senior Management status.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Laws Degree from a recognized university
- Call to the Bar Certificate with minimum of 15 years cognate practice experience.
- Postgraduate qualification is mandatory for holders of a Second Class Lower Degree and an added advantage for all applicants. In addition, Postgraduate Diplomas in Finance or related subject areas will guarantee a place in the short list.
- Candidates must be lawyer who are smart, have good personalities and with good command of English Language spoken and written.
- Maximum age is 45 years.
