Job Title: Insurance Energy Specialist

Job Description
- Reports directly to the Chief Risk Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for efficient coordination of the Energy unit.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for underwriting and pricing all oil and gas accounts in accordance with NAICOM's underwriting standards
- Manage the bid process and responsible for proper documentation for the approval in principle and letter of attestation
- Gather market data for new markets and products and identify new production opportunities and track competitor activity.
- Gather report and act on the appropriate market information and trends
- Acts as internal resource on energy insurance solutions
- Communicate energy related information withing the company.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years Energy Insurance experience.
- B.Sc/HND from a reputable higher institution (minimum of 2:2 or upper credit)
- Ability to underwrite large, more complex energy account, including knowledge of pricing and rating methodology.
- Oral written communication skills, including formal and informal presentation skills
- Intermediate skills in underwriting and policy processing software applications
- Professional membership of CII or CIIN
- Maximum age is 35
