Job Title: Enterprise Risk Manager Analyst

Job Description
- Reports directly to the Head, Internal Control, the successful candidate will be responsible for the Enterprise Risk Management function
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain an ERM framework and supporting policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement a strategic and annual ERM plan
- Develop and implement risk assessment methodologies, models and systems
- Assess and maintain the risk maturity profile of the organization
- Facilitate the identification of risks utilizing appropriate tools and techniques
- Facilitate the assessment of identified risks
- Facilitate the compilation of strategic and operational risk registers
- Facilitate the development of risk response strategies (mitigation plans)
- Report all relevant ERM matters including; findings, risk positions and recommendations to management.
- Establish and maintain a risk management philosophy and culture within the organization
- Provide guidance in the identification, assessment, management and resolution of enterprise and operational risk challenges.
- Collaborate closely with business units to track gaps/needs across existing or new policies
- Monitor the progress and execution of responses to regulatory findings, frequently engaging businesses for status updates
- Identify issues in regulatory response process.
- Present progress reports and potential issues to senior management
- Analyze data and reports to derive performance improvement opportunities, isolate root causes, and collaborate on viable solutions to drive variation out of operational processes
Requirements
- B.Sc in any discipline from a reputable university (minimum of 2:2)
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in enterprise wide risk management, internal audit or internal control.
- Internationally recognised accounting or auditing certification will be an added advantage
- Adequate knowledge of risk management processes and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to fellow complex methods and procedures in diverse tasks
- Ability to deal with highly confidential information in a professional manner
- Maximum age is 35 years
