Job Title: Micro Insurance Analyst

Job Description
- Reports directly to the Head, Micro Insurance, the successful candidates will provide excellent support service in the Micro Insurance Unit of the organisation.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide support in the management of the organization's micro-insurance program by conducting feasibility studies on micro-insurance products and developing internal proposals for potential new products that cater for small and medium scale enterprises
- Contribute in the formulation of strategies for development of micro-insurance products.
- Provide support for the savings-linked products in multiple markets
- Provide support for partner institutions on market/client research, product design, insurance partner selection and negotiation, product piloting and rollout.
- Support the team's drive towards developing opportunities for strategic alliances with selected global players in the micro-insurance and micro-insurance market.
Requirements
The successful candidates must be:
- First Degree in relevant discipline from a reputable university ( minimum of 2:2)
- Minimum of 5 years micro insurance/ micro-finance experience from insurance, banking or micro finance organisation.
- Track record of successfully managing micro-insurance project, strategies alliances and partnerships
- Successful working in an entrepreneurial environment where limited resources are leveraged to produce maximum results
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build productive relationships internally and externally
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Excellent spoken English. Fluency in local languages is an added advantage
- Strong strategic and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational capabilities;
- Ability to work collaboratively and interact effectively with people of other cultures and socio-economic backgrounds.
- Maximum age is 35 years
