Job Description
- Conduct Quality Control through daily analysis of samples
- Ensure required QC tests on raw materials, intermediates and finished products are carried out to Standard Inspection Plan
- Capture and record results of analysis done
- Ensure QC laboratory equipment measures accurately by use of external calibrations and internal verification
- Inspect packaging and labeling of manufactured goods to ensure compliance
- Monitor and report results of production samples to indicate whether product has passed first time
- Proactively ensure specifications are adjusted to ensure product passes first time
- Investigate and respond to customer complaints related to product quality problems
- Implement and maintain Responsible Care measures related to a QC laboratory
- Ensure waste minimization in line with legislation
Requirements
- A good degree in Chemistry or Mathematics
- Minimum of 3 years in technical field, preferably in Construction Chemicals
- Work experience in Quality Control is required.
- SAP experience and good use of Microsoft Applications
- Good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
