Job Title: Business Development Executive
Location: Uyo, Akwa Ibom
Employment Type: Full-time
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- A Business Decelopment Executive is responsible for building the business by identifying new business prospects and selling product to them.
- You must maintain relationships with current patients and build and maintain relationships with new patients.
- You will also need to stay ahead of our competition and work on sharpening and improving your skills by attending classes, seminars or workshops relating to eye care.
Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed communicated monthly target.
- Research and recommend prospects for new business opportunities
- Research and analyse sales options
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects
- Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new products
- Collect and analyse information and prepare data and sales reports
- Attend workshops to learn more technical and professional skills for the job
- Build and maintain professional networks
- Meet with potential clients to determine their needs
- Contacting potential and existing customers on the phone, by email, and in person.
- Handling customer questions, inquiries, and complaints.
- Preparing and sending quotes and proposals.
- Managing the sales process through specific software programs.
- Up-sell and cross-sell our services.
- Building and maintaining a CRM database.
- Attend educational events and seminars to boost sales
- Send daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Must have a Minimum of 2nd Class Lower or Lower Credit.
- Five (5) years of experience or morein a similar roles is an added advantage.
- Must be proficient in English (oral and written).
- Candidate must have completed NYSC.
- Must have excellent knowledge of the use of Microsoft Office Packages (Excel and Word).
- Excellent phone etiquette and ability to multi-task.
- Calm and efficient in all situations.
- Welcoming, friendly and helpful.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Must be intelligent, smart, creative, good communicator and administratively efficient.
- Ability to pay attention to details.
- Knowledge of Eye Clinic functionality is an advantage.
- A Bi-lingual skill is an advantage.
