Smart Partners Consulting Limited (SPCL) - Our client in the hospitality industry in Bida LGA, Niger State is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HR Officer (Hospitality)

Location: Bida, Niger
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Consistently recruiting excellent staff.
  • Maintaining a smooth onboarding process.
  • Training, counseling and coaching thestaff.
  • Resolving conflicts through positive and professional mediation.
  • Carrying out necessary administrative duties.
  • Conducting performance and wage reviews.
  • Developing clear policies and ensuring policy awareness.
  • Creating clear and concise reports.
  • Giving helpful and engaging presentations.
  • Maintaining and reporting on workplace health and safety compliance.
  • Handling workplace investigations, disciplinary and termination procedures.
  • Maintaining employee and workplace privacy.

Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience as human resources
  • Must reside in Bida, Niger State or willing to relocate.
  • Experience in human resources or related field in the hospitality industry.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
  • Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes and workplace investigations.
  • Experience in following and maintaining workplace privacy.
  • Ability to give presentations.
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety laws.
  • Must be firm, bold and ready to face challenges.
  • Able to engage the staff and ensure they work well.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Female preferably and must be ready to resume immediately.
