Job Brief
- We are seeking an enthusiastic English Tutor to teach English lessons to primary school students. If you are an English lover and have the patience and tact to teach others, we would like to meet you.
- Your goal will be to establish a welcoming learning atmosphere to achieve their academic objectives.
- You'll teach them the fundamentals of reading, writing, and speaking English through various engaging and unique approaches.
- You'll keep track of their progress and provide relevant feedback by tracking their assignment and exam grades.
Job Responsibilities
- Organize lectures and coursework in the classroom.
- Prepare the necessary materials and activities.
- Assign intriguing exercises and homework.
- Identify students with unique needs and develop tailored strategies for them.
- Determine exam and assignment grades.
- Provide comments based on workload and behavior in the classroom.
- Keep track of your pupils' attendance and grades.
- Investigate novel language-learning techniques.
- Resolve conflicts and manage crises in the classroom.
- Parents should be informed about their children's performance.
- Monitor pupils progress and provide relevant feedback by tracking their assignment and test grades.
Job Requirements
- B.Sc / BA in English Language or Literature is required; a Master's Degree is a plus.
- Previous teaching experience in English in a primary school.
- Understanding of a variety of instructional approaches.
- Detailed knowledge of the national curriculum as well as the English language requirements.
- Outstanding organizational and communication abilities.
- A patient and tenacious character.
Salary
N60,000 - N70,000 Monthly.
