Inventory Clerk at an Indigenous Supermarket

An indigenous Supermarket situated in Port-Harcourt deals with the wholesale, and retail of fast moving consumer goods. She has being in operation for 19 years and have five branches in Port Harcourt.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Inventory Clerk

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Ensures all good purchased are captured electronically using the Enterprise software

Responsibilities

• Electronic update of all goods purchased
• Physical verification of goods purchased with invoice before update.
• Pays attention to indicators on the Enterprise application such as best selling products, notification on near expiration products etc; and makes timely reports to the Managing Director.
• Liaise with the store keeper to ensure FIFO method is used in the dispatch of good to be displayed on shelf
• Note taking of out of store goods and timely reporting to the Managing Director.

Eligibility Criteria

• NCE / OND / Bachelor's Degree holders with 1 - 2 years experience in similar role
• Candidates should demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Candidate must possess ICT skills
• Numeric Skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Attention to details
• Knowledge of the Enterprise application is an added advantage.
